The SK 22 consistently implements your requirements in operational practice: it uses energy sparingly, is quiet, low-maintenance and reliable. Numerous innovative solutions contribute to this, for example in the areas of compressor blocks with highly efficient SIGMA PROFILE, cooling and ventilation, industrial PC control or IE3 Premium Efficiency Motor. All KAESER screw compressors are subjected to an extensive test run before leaving our factory.

KAESER compressor block with energy-saving SIGMA PROFILE
Every KAESER rotary screw airend has rotors with the energy-saving SIGMA PROFILE, which is constantly being optimized in terms of aerodynamics. This makes a significant contribution to the fact that the overall systems set standards in terms of specific performance. Careful manufacture and adjusted precision roller bearings ensure a long service life and high reliability. Single-stage compression with cooling fluid injection for optimal cooling, lubrication and sealing of the rotors guarantee a long service life and smooth running.
Thoughtful structure
The screw compressors impress with their well thought-out, user-friendly design. The left housing cover can be removed in just a few simple steps, revealing the clearly arranged components: All maintenance points are easy to reach. When closed, the housing with its sound-insulating paneling ensures a pleasant operating noise. In addition, with three suction openings, it is used for the separate air supply for the highly effective cooling of the system, the drive motor and the control cabinet. Thanks to their design, the compressors are real space savers.
Flexible KAESER belt drive
KAESER belt-driven screw compressors impress with their economy and reliability. KAESER KOMPRESSOREN was one of the very first compressor manufacturers to implement this type of drive. The automatic re-tensioning device keeps the transmission efficiency of the belt drive of KAESER screw compressors at a consistently high level over the entire service life. This also reduces maintenance costs.

The command center
The operating unit, manufactured according to industry standards, is equipped with a clear display and robust buttons. All relevant information can be seen at a glance. The clear menu structure in connection with 30 selectable languages underlines the simple operation.
Security with RFID
SIGMA CONTROL 2 offers high security thanks to the integrated RFID functionality (Radio Frequency Identification, identification of radio waves). It allows users and/or KAESER service technicians to log in securely and, in terms of operator liability, offers a guarantee that no unauthorized person will operate the system or manipulate its settings.

SIGMA CONTROL 2 communicates internally with the compressor via inputs and outputs. Integration into the SIGMA NETWORK is possible thanks to the standard Ethernet interface. Connection to a network enables remote monitoring. The built-in web server can be used to display the control panel, the menu structure, operating parameters and the message history.
Update and save
Software updates and operating parameters can be installed or transferred quickly and easily via the SD card slot. This saves service costs. In addition, the SD card can be used for (long-term) storage of important operating data.
"Prepared connection to control system" option
Optional (pluggable) bus communication modules (Profibus DP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, Devicenet) enable external communication with building and control technology systems for remote control and remote monitoring of the compressor. Digital and analog inputs that can be assigned via the operating unit as well as digital outputs enable the integration of external sensors and actuators.
