The SX 6 screw compressor consistently implements your requirements in operational practice: it uses energy sparingly, is quiet, low-maintenance and reliable. Numerous innovative solutions contribute to this, for example in the areas of compressor units with highly efficient SIGMA PROFIL, cooling and ventilation, industrial PC control or IE3 Premium Efficiency Motor. All KAESER screw compressors are subjected to a comprehensive test run before they leave our factory.

KAESER compressor block with energy-saving SIGMA PROFILE
Every KAESER rotary screw airend has rotors with the energy-saving SIGMA PROFILE. Careful manufacture and adjusted precision roller bearings ensure a long service life and high reliability. Single-stage compression with cooling fluid injection for optimal cooling, lubrication and sealing of the rotors.
Dual flow fan cooling system
The cooling system works with a new type of double-flow fan (patent pending). Its shape ensures high effectiveness and reduces noise. The separate routing of the air to be compressed and the incoming cooling air for the air/fluid cooler and engine provides reserves even at high ambient temperatures of up to 45 °C. The intake of the engine cooling air and the air to be compressed directly from the environment ensures highly effective engine cooling and increases the efficiency of the compression. The cooling air flow, which works at low flow speeds, minimizes noise development.
Maintenance friendly
Well thought-out details contribute to simpler and therefore more cost-effective maintenance. These include: the air filter with an efficient honeycomb structure, the easy-to-change oil filter, the external separator cartridge and the "Longlife" drive belt.
Excellently accessible
All maintenance work can be carried out from one side. The left housing cover can be removed for this purpose, all maintenance points are easy to reach. The fluid level can be checked through the viewing window without even opening the hood. They also have an operating opening for the test button on the electronic condensate drain of the refrigeration dryer.

The command center
The operating unit, manufactured according to industry standards, is equipped with a clear display and robust buttons. All relevant information can be seen at a glance. The clear menu structure in connection with 30 selectable languages underlines the simple operation.
Security with RFID
SIGMA CONTROL 2 offers high security thanks to the integrated RFID functionality (Radio Frequency Identification, identification of radio waves). It allows users and/or KAESER service technicians to log in securely and, in terms of operator liability, offers a guarantee that no unauthorized person will operate the system or manipulate its settings.

SIGMA CONTROL 2 communicates internally with the compressor via inputs and outputs. Integration into the SIGMA NETWORK is possible thanks to the standard Ethernet interface. Connection to a network enables remote monitoring. The built-in web server can be used to display the control panel, the menu structure, operating parameters and the message history.
Update and save
Software updates and operating parameters can be installed or transferred quickly and easily via the SD card slot. This saves service costs. In addition, the SD card can be used for (long-term) storage of important operating data.
"Prepared connection to control system" option
Optional (pluggable) bus communication modules (Profibus DP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, Devicenet) enable external communication with building and control technology systems for remote control and remote monitoring of the compressor. Digital and analog inputs that can be assigned via the operating unit as well as digital outputs enable the integration of external sensors and actuators.
